Townsville Port Expansion Project - Additional information to the environmental impact statement

Closed 7 Nov 2016

Opened 8 Oct 2016

Overview

Queensland's Coordinator-General invites you to have your say on the additional information to the environmental impact statement (AEIS) for the Townsville Port Expansion Project.

After assessing the environmental impact statement (EIS) and the submissions made on the EIS, the Coordinator-General asked Port of Townsville Limited to prepare additional information.

The additional information includes:

  • corrections, clarification and further information to that provided in the EIS
  • results from any additional studies
  • a description of any changes to the project since the EIS was released.

The Coordinator-General will consider all properly made submissions, the EIS and the AEIS before preparing a final evaluation report recommending that the project be either approved or refused.

How to comment

There are a number of different ways to provide comments on this AEIS. You only need to provide comments using one of these methods. Replicated responses received through different methods will only be counted as one submission.
