Overview

You are invited to have your say on the SDA application for a material change of use for high impact industry in the Townsville State Development Area (SDA).

The SDA application seeks approval for an increase in the scale and intensity of the existing screening activities and composting of green waste  from 20,000 tonnes per annum throughput to 320,000 tonnes per annum throughput.

The subject land is situated within the Low Impact Industry Precinct at 180-220 Racecourse Road, Cluden and is described as Lot 33 on SP192632.

How to make a submission

You can make a submission using one of the following methods:

A submission must meet the following criteria:

  • be made to the Coordinator-General in writing or electronically
  • be received on or before the last day of the consultation period
  • be signed by each person who made the submission
  • state the name and address of each person who made the submission
  • state the grounds of the submission and the facts and circumstances relied on in support of the grounds.

Note: Any submission received may be made publicly available and provided to the proponent on request.
