All three levels are required to:
- align with the Advanced Manufacturing Roadmap and Action Plan; and
- include the adoption of new technologies that align with Industry 4.0 and/or skills development; and
- build a company’s manufacturing productivity, competitiveness, adaption to Industry 4.0; and
- result in increased jobs and private sector investment.
Level 1
Projects valued between $5,000 and $25,000 as a 75% contribution by the MHGP and a 25% contribution by the applicant.
Level 1 payments – reimbursement of Eligible Activity Costs (as defined in the Program Guidelines) paid upon confirmation of deliver of the project and submission of relevant supporting documentation under properly executed funding agreement.
Level 2
Projects valued between $25,001 and $500,000 as a 75% contribution by the MHGP and a 25% contribution by the applicant
Level 2 payments - 20% up-front payment following proper execution of the funding agreement by both parties, balance paid on completion of the project and delivery of supporting documentation.
Level 3
Grants of between $501,000 and $1 million as a 75% contribution of $500,000 and 50% of the balance of the Eligible Activity Costs by the MHGP
Level 3 payments – reimbursement of Eligible Activity Costs (as defined in the Program Guidelines) in arrears on satisfactory delivery of Milestones (determined on a case by case basis) and submission of relevant supporting documentation.
