Sunshine Coast Airport Expansion project - additional information to the environmental impact statement

Overview

Queensland's Coordinator-General invites you to have your say on the Supplementary information about the environmental impact statement (EIS), referred to as additional information to the environmental impact statement (AEIS) for the Sunshine Coast Airport Expansion project.

Public consultation on the EIS for the Sunshine Coast Airport Expansion project closed on 13 November 2014. After assessing the EIS and the submissions made on the EIS, the Coordinator-General asked Sunshine Coast Regional Council to prepare the AEIS.

Additional information can include:

• corrections, clarification and further information to that provided in the EIS—as requested in state government advisory agency and public submissions
• results from additional studies requested by advisory agencies or the Coordinator-General
• a description of any changes or refinements to the project proposed by the proponent since the draft EIS was released.

The Coordinator-General seeks your views on whether the AEIS adequately responds to the issues raised in submissions on the EIS. 

The Coordinator-General will consider all properly made submissions, the EIS and AEIS before preparing a final evaluation report either refusing or approving the project.

1. Read the AEIS by clicking here or at one of the following display locations between 2 November 2015 and 30 November 2015 to view a printed or electronic copy of the AEIS:
