You are invited to have your say on the SDA application for a material change of use for a Renewable Energy Facitlity (solar farm) in the Gladstone State Development Area (SDA).

The SDA application is for a 777-hectare solar farm consisting of 1 million solar panels which at maximum capacity will generate 265 megawatts, a substation and associated infrastructure.

The subject land is in the High Impact Industry Precinct, Medium-High Impact Industry Precinct and Material Transportation and Services Corridor Precinct, situated on Gladstone Mt Larcom Road, Aldoga, described as Lot 1 on SP307522, Lot 2 SP301578 and Lot 1 on SP260750 (previously Lot 1 on SP301578, Lot 29 on RP894241 and Lot 2 on SP301578).

You can make a submission using one of the following methods:

A submission must meet the following criteria:

  • be made to the Coordinator-General in writing or electronically
  • be received on or before the last day of the consultation period
  • be signed by each person who made the submission
  • state the name and address of each person who made the submission
  • state the grounds of the submission and the facts and circumstances relied on in support of the grounds.

Note: Any submission received may be made publicly available and provided to the proponent on request.
