Queensland's Coordinator-General invites you to have your say on the draft terms of reference (TOR) for an environmental impact statement (EIS) for the North Queensland Country Club Resort and Equestrian Centre.  

Prepared by the Coordinator-General, the draft TOR sets out the matters to be studied within the EIS. You are invited to comment on whether the draft TOR adequately covers all the matters Landmark Projects Pty Ltd must address when preparing the EIS.

About the project

The North Queensland Country Club Resort and Equestrian Centre is an integrated tourism resort including an accommodation precinct with 2,800 rooms and units, a sport and recreation precinct which includes an equestrian centre and an environmental and open space precinct for nature-based recreation activities. The project would be located on a 440 hectare site at Bluewater, 30 kilometres north-west of Townsville within the Townsville City Council local government area.
